My pen name is L. D. Hills - Lester David...just call me David. I am a scenic photographer based in Tumalo, OR. My work focuses primarily on the Pacific Northwest, but I intend to expand my photography efforts throughout the entire western United States as my operation grows. 

   My primary occupation is Pastor of the Tumalo Community Church. I operate HILLS OUTDOORS on the side for extra income. As my business expands I will be marketing photos from all over the West and writing books featuring subjects and pictures from my travels. I also do travel-oriented poetry and will be including works of travel fiction as well in the future.

   The current focus is on the work I've done in the "Beaver State" - Oregon. I have also begun to offer calendars featuring photos from this state and I plan to continue that practice in the years ahead. 

   My publishing business HILLS OUTDOORS Is the outlet for my books and calendars. My photos are available via various stock photography sites: Shutterstock, Bigstock, Dreamstime, Picfair, Vecteezy, and Fine Art America.    In addition to many years as a scenic/nature photographer, I have a Bachelor of Science degree in history/education, in addition to theological studies, and much work experience in various occupations over the years. My education and work experience serve me well in my writing, while my photo tours and travel experience provide me with ample material for my publications as well.
